Well, there is a new one advancing did:web called did:webvh

identity.foundation/didwebvh/next/

and the SCID part of the identifier is stable. Yet AT is unlikely to look at it either.

they are slow to try and understand the new options (did:webvh and did:dht) or mostly I think it comes down to "we don't have an issue for us, so it isn't a priority" even though there are significant issues being asked about.
