I think there’s something to be said for sex being part of the human experience and thus part of art and film as a consequence of that. Siloing sex scenes into “plot-related” and “not plot relevant” feels…weirdly robotic to me. My generation wasn’t healthy about sex but I’m not sure this is, either.

Unfortunately the general apologia for the Intolerable Cruelty on the Intolerable Cruelty is not as good an opinion (sorry, I rewatched it again recently, it’s not worth a re-evaluation, it’s still bad).

I got to see Macbeth on a thematically perfect rainy day in Frick Park, though it did require some walking. The folks at PSIP are very helpful! Fortunately you have a couple of weekends left to get out and see it,

That’s Pittsburgh Shakespeare in the Parks, which I would also highly recommend! Shitfaced Shakespeare is a comedy show where they perform Hamlet but one of the cast members is very drunk. It’s at the Greer Cabaret downtown.
