I think that's one of the points with the AT protocol if I understand correctly. You could just migrate your whole profile to another better site if that were to happen.

I think the a goty game need to be both really good and also have widespread recognition and that latter part sadly leaves a lot of indies out.

There are some though, like Hades in 2020 and Balatro this year.
