Do not interact with their stuff. It's currently being filed for DMCA and legal teams are working against it. This stuff they are reposting isn't currently illegal and they are just doubling down

To fellow users. If they have a social media, they have an email. Once that's found it's pretty easy to overwhelm them.

Can someone from OTW help the community? There are people scraping and trying to create ai bots to scrape and profit from. We can't get huggingface mods to get these people to take this stuff down after dmca reports

Also- fan fiction creators and fan art artist all give Credit and ownership to the proper original creators. What the person did was take everything and sell it for profit. Its like taking every script of marvel and selling it on etsy as your own. You can't do that legally.

Fanfiction is under fair use. Copy and pasting datasets of every book on AO3 word for word copying and then using it for profit does not make it under fair use. Just like if someone makes fanfiction that has a payment isn't fair use. You can not sell that.

The person stole this to get money ans get paid. The A03 has original stories written in addition to fanfiction that are free and not paid for. AO3 users have their own rights to their stories even if its fanfiction. They aren't getting paid unlike the person who stole their work is.
