never mind. the fabled code has returned bc i can't leave a problem unsolved; you can right click to toggle free aim mode, and turning or moving while in free aim also takes your looking direction into account

((un)fortunately didnt record desktop audio, so you cant hear master boot record as bgm)

ok got (very basic and hardcoded) pixel scaling in already, it was the first thing i really wanted to get in before doing anything else

lua is pretty easy to get a hang of at least so far lol #love2d

field of view checked off! remember where you've been, and what's ahead...

the radius is purposefully exaggeratedly small, it'll be bigger and less claustrophobic

very early in development (sorry for quality), but working on a fighting game-esque hitbox drawing tool, where you set a sprite, make a move based on a sprite animation, and per frame you can draw out collision shapes for that action.

first time making real "editor tools" in #godotengine, it's fun!

feature addition | added unlockable double jump and grapple hook

simple work for this, but liking it so far. hold right click to aim your hook, then left click to pull yourself towards it, keeping some momentum after
