That's the issue with violence is that it's not a quicker or more effective version of change. it's merely an easier one.

I dont think revolution is really "murder," at least not when directly interfering with government entities like soldiers. It's closer to warfare, in which both parties have agreed to participate

Because we do this thing in language where we used "idioms" or "metaphors" or "allusions" to make a point. The majority of non-religious Americans also use "Goddamnit" or "Lord willing" or whatever else for the same reasons. Being obtuse about language doesn't change it it just makes you look dumb
