If Everton are doing away with the director of football position, it suggests to me the Friedkin group may want an overall "Sporting Director" for all clubs in their portfolio, with each club having a "Technical Director" who is responsible for day to day activities and reports directly to them.

It looked like it might be one game too far for Everton, but that might prove to be a good point. Need to win our next 2 though before a difficult run!

He came across really well in the Leeds documentary on Amazon, but he also snitched to the premier league about PSR to try and get us relegated....

Bit of a letdown of a transfer window for the entire premier league, PSR worries have really hampered team's ability to spend heavily. Man City invested big but I would assume that may mean in the summer it might be quieter, especially as they'll be at the club world cup

Just witnessed my pet hate of a teenager coming into a place with a CV asking if they are hiring and them being told no without even a second glance. It's so rude from business owners/staff to do that and really demoralising for the poor person who's job hunting
