I was in elementary (didn't play AD&D 1e until Jr. High) & the "satanic panic" wasn't just confined to rpg's - the toy industry was targeted also. I remember my christian fundamentalist mom heard a preacher talk negatively about the Masters of the Universe cartoon & toys - I had to throw mine away😡
