The Journal prioritises special issue proposals that focus on research articles, methodologies and scholarship which meaningfully engage with Indigenous and First Nations people, and vulnerable and minoritised groups and/or communities.

Today, ANZSOC joins in to celebrate Matariki, and to recognise Te Ao Māori and the importance of Māori world view and knowledge.
