It is things like this that really make me stop and question how much I really know.

I know the TAC can feel like a lottery, but what concerns me is people putting in the same proposal but with different targets. Horrifficaly, this does happen, and I think a lottery would encourage this practice.

It's not actually a bad plan or run every 1.5 years, as TAC pressure and finding people volunteering for it must be getting harder.
My mantra this year was would I submit this proposal if I were required to review ~15 others.

Wish I knew where the zero was - last year I submitted one on the day the window opened. This year, my first proposal was way later.

Alright, it's time to build another one. I thought 1500 was high.

We have just collectivly added 1000 proposals to the next highest telescope call in history.
