the game is far more ambitious than hollow knight and it feels sort of unfair to compare them. but i think i had a far more Smooth experience with hk. that being said, silksong (if you can get through the frustrations of it) is very very good :] big enjoy (most of the time)

also for the record kws absolutely hogs your data when using it - for the few other uk ppl seeing this its probably not worth doing it annoyingly
