Good to see that Liz Truss hasn't lost her touch.

@reecedinsdale.bsky.social Well said, Reece!

Very entertaining to see all the usual suspects on the Right, gloating over the fact they have damaged one of the few media organisations that holds them to account.

No one can hold a candle to our Nadir when it comes to informed, political debate!
She learnt from being at the feet of the master, our Lion of Ukraine, the man who delivered Brexit to the people & who stood proud and erect in the chamber and on the benches.

Sorry, I thought you said...

@frasernelson.bsky.social Enjoyed the C4 programme on Farage and you put valid points to him but why nothing about his key involvement in Brexit? He needs to justify all he said about the benefits and not be allowed to get away with saying, 'I'd have done it differently'

This woman, with her jumbled understanding of the actual events of WW2, reminds me of John Belushi in National Lampoon's Animal House; 'Was it over when the Germans bombed Pearl Harbour?'
Absolutely deranged.

Genuinely surprised that the Tories are attacking the Govt over the Casey report, when it was they who were in power for the overwhelming period of the known abuse AND her last report which was ignored, was produced in 2015.
Hey Tories! Stop Digging!

Two of the most evil men in history joined forces to enslave and exterminate a country and a people. Hitler's part in this is well known but Stalin's part has been at best, overlooked.
For a personal view of this, read Daniel Finkelstein's book & research the Katyn Massacre

If you want to grade where the BBC is politically, look at Talk TV or GB News.
Yes, the board does have a right of centre mix but their primary duty is to maintain the BBC's standards not to move it to the left or right.
As long as the BBC get up the noses of the Daily Mail, I'm happy.

Worse. Lord Haw Haw was an unapologetic Nazi, openly broadcasting their propaganda. This man claims to be a 'spokesman' for the Israeli govt, able to clarify any points of contention. I think this woman has been watching his videos before she took up her current role.

Don't worry about all the 'alleged' shootings of people queuing for food over the last few weeks and all the other 'alleged' shootings and deaths of civilians, the Israeli Govt are looking into it and then this man will tell us the unbiased truth.

Ah! Yes, that cancels everything else out.
Fair enough.
You make a very good point.
When did he do this? Was it before or after Pearl Harbour?
I forget.
A little unfair to condemn one term* of office on a single action designed to help his countrymen maybe but okay.
*sorry 4 terms.
Have a great day

Hmmm. That's an interesting view.

I'm reading Daniel Finkelstein's excellent book, 'Hitler, Stalin, mum & dad' and am struck by how the Jews were largely abandoned to their fate by the World.
Whilst not on the same scale of course, this is another occasion where the World must not stand by.
This is simply good versus evil.
