Hahaha Hiii. It was fun to read. YZY is definitely above the cartoon villain that some people portray her as but she is shockingly average when it comes to critical thinking or intelligence. No thoughts given beyond class structures.

I know but it’s a commentary on all the leaders not just her. MXTX herself said you don’t need brains to be a leader. Just be born. Which includes Yu Ziyuan as well.

Also loud, angry and rude in public spaces. Zero political savvyness. Jiang Yanli would have been such a great leader instead if she was given the equal opportunities to learn and grow.

Who are technically her political allies. No evacuation plans. Nothing. Just vibes and blaming a 16 year old for causing a war decades in the making. Saved zero disciples except for her son because he is her son and ordered the other kid who she jus blamed for the inevitable war to save him

But YZY is politically dumb. She just has power and status. CR burned to a crisp. Their disciples narrowly escaped being Xuanwu fodder on top of all the other horrific treatments they endured and she takes no defensive action. Blames WY for stirring the pot and says should have let JZX and LWJ die +

Both of them were so horseshit at planning. One of the major sects recently got burned, their kids who were 16 were forced on a murder tortoise field trip. And these chuckleheads take noooo safety precautions at all. Damn. Goes to show you don’t need any skills to be a sect leader. Just be born.
