I've had my share of body dysmorphia in life and doing pose reference modeling has honestly helped a ton with those feelings. My body has changed a lot in 18 years but any reference photo I take might be the ONE someone needs.

Hearing my teammates say that I've been killing it as a supervisor and just overall happy with how everything has gone on this project makes me feel so happy. Really glad and blessed to have such an awesome team for my first official supervisor role.

Had a really fun time today at work - we had a team lunch and finally got to see 5/6 folks ony team in person! Had some yummy sushi too.

Went out to try to get a steelhead on Tuesday with @phiro.bsky.social and I failed again lol 😭
I had a big bite on a white soft bead and the fish rolled and I messed up the hookset. So sad! Saw a rainbow tho....just not a rainbow trout 😭

I'm curious...other artists, how many sketch phases do you go through before inking/lining?
I do a rough gesture, then a rough sketch, then a clean sketch and onto inks. But then I'm so burnt out, but my lines are nearly clean enough to just draw over. I wanna get my "rough" stage cleaner

Taking out a new steelhead rod to the creek tomorrow morning. I won a rod in a raffle at an event last April, and it broke on the first outing. So I got it replaced under warranty, but haven't used the replacement since getting it because I had bought a different, more durable salmon rod.

Am depressed today. October was really stinky for me for the most part (and it's my favourite month) and with the Blue Jays losing to top it all off, I just feel so sad 🫠😭
