ICE agents in Durango, Colorado kidnapped 2 kids & Dad (legal asylum seekers) on their way to school yesterday. 100 Protesters tried to prevent transport to Texas this afternoon. The ice agents rammed car to drive away.

I loved this book! Another book all Christians should read.

April makes her former beliefs accessible & understand how she was a Christian nationalist & didn't realize it.

The people who need to read this book probably won’t. But I hope they will as an opportunity to reflect on their beliefs.

Part 4 of my 2024 year in review for books
The women and the Goblet of Fire have hearts. Nothing to See Here, Days at the Morisaki Bookshop, More days at the Morisaki Bookshop, Small things like these, Looking for Smoke, and At the Coffee Shop of Curiosities are circled. We are not like them is plain The House at the Cerulean Sea is circled. Bossypants, From Scratch, No Crying in Baseball, Yes Please and the Woman in Me have nothing. MIcrojoys and The Covenant of Water are crossed out. A Wizard's Guide to Defensive Baking has a heart. American Idolatry is Circled (but I recommend it). The Lager Queen of Minnesota, The body is not an Apology and Nowhere for Very Long have nothing Every Heart a Doorway and all of the other Wayward Children books in the series and Tress of the Emerald Sea have a heart. A Psalm for the Wild Built and A Prayer fro the Crown Shy are circled. The Energy Bus is crossed out.

Part 3 of my 2024 year in review for books
Hearts on ADHD is Awesome and Bookshops and Bonedust. Circles on When Breath becomes air, Everyone on This train is a Suspect, The Very Secret Society of Irregular Witches, Great Alone and Quidditch through the ages. Hello Beautiful is nothing. The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time is crossed out. It is a stereotype of Autism and pissed me off. Parts were ok but there are so many other books that portray autism more authentically. Hearts on What I mean when I say I'm Autistic and The Prisoner of Azkaban (the best Harry potter book). Circles on Everyone this Christmas has a Secret, The Spellshop, The Sun Does Shine, and the Invisible life of Addie Larue. Out of my Dreams and The Mysterious Benedict Society have nothing. Out of my Dreams is my least favorite of the 3 books though. Pinapple Street is crossed off. Hearts on the Restaurant of Lost Recipes and Hallowpox (Nevermoor #3). Circled are The Lost Bookshop, What you are looking for is in the library and midnight at the blackbird cafe. Nothing on the Snow Child, The Christmas Bookshop, Midnight at the Christmas Bookshop and the Alchemyst have nothing, Though the two Christmas books are not my favorites. The Winners has a heart. Illuminations, A Hope Ablaze, Go As a River, and Lets Pretend this never happened are circled. The Alchemist, and What the Owl Knows are plain. It Starts with Us and the Financial Feminist are crossed off.

The Heaven and Earth Grocery Store, What Have We Here?, The Nineties a Book, and An Amerikan Family have nothing. It Ends with US is crossed out. Call Us What we carry and Us Against you have hearts, Baking Science, The Measure, Furiously Happy and Tomorrow and Tomorrow and Tomorrow are circled. Fish in a Tree, To Shake the Sleeping Self and Disobedient Women have nothing. The Many Lives of Mama Love, Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's have Hearts. Somewhere beyond the sea should too. I think I missed that one. The Poet X is circled. Convenience Store Woman, Out of my Heart, Weyward and The mostly true story of Tanner and Louise have nothing. The Comfort of Crows is crossed out. Hearts on Nevermoor-The Trials of Morrigan Crow, The Book of Lost Names, Self-Care for Autistic People, Wundersmith (Nevermoor #2) and Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets. The Radium Girls is Circled. Nothing is the Lost Flowers of Alice Hart, The Lost City of Z and Out of my Heart.

2024 my year in books. I read 144 books which was 47,702 pages. The Wild Robot and The Collected Regrets of Clover have hearts. The Klansman's son and My grandmother asked me to tell you she's sorry are circled. A court of thorns and roses and a court of mist and fury are crossed out. The princess diarist, wishful drinking and One Way Back have nothing The Wild Robot Escapes, The Wild Robot Protects, and Out of my Mind have hearts. Rising Out of Hatred and Welcome to the Hynunam-Dong bookshop are circled. Eleanor Oliphant has nothing. A court of wings and ruin, A court of Frost and Starlight and a court of silver flames are crossed off. (Spice isn't my jam plus the books drag until the end) Out of my mind should have a heart on it but it is nothing. oops! The Boys in the Boat and Just Gus are circled. Broken (in the best way possible), A Short Walk through a wide world, and A Bakery in Paris have nothing. No books are crossed out.
