I agree. Not something I'm always in the mood for but they're genuinely good together. Salty/sweet FTW.

Those just teach you that cheating is acceptable if you want to either get the good ending or see all the bad endings.

I had read a billion fantasy books but I picked up Harry Potter because it was lying around when I visited my mom's house, since my little brother had a copy. I thought they were fun books so I read the rest of them but I never got super deep into any of it. Just found them entertaining.

IMO IRL quidditch is harmless. It looks fun.

I remember seeing all the flyers about that but I had never read the books so I didn't bother looking into it. Good for me, I guess.

The church I attend, a UCC church, has some atheist members. We've also had local Jewish and Muslim groups use our building for their worship and prayer. And we are a "sanctuary church;" we have a small apartment on the premises where we host migrant families while they wait on their visas.

United Church of Christ is super progressive. DEFINITELY not conservative or prosperity gospel in ANY way, FYI. Also, look up "Open and Affirming" churches to see a list of the ones that are good with all LGBTQ+ people (and in a real way, not a "love the sinner hate the sin way).

Check for "open and affirming" churches in your area if you're interested. The UCC denomination is one of the ones that it sounds like you would like. :)

I had a waterbed as a kid in the '90s and I LOVED it. I thought they were super comfy.

Uck, the TDAP always makes me SO SORE. I obviously did it anyway though, even though it sucks. Hope you feel less tired and sore soon. :)

If you share those online a million people will love you forever, FYI.

I LOVE that sweater!

Also half the time when I bump an inanimate object, I say "Ow" on their behalf, apparently.

Captioning is WAAY too often just farmed out to the lowest bidder, and those companies tend to be incentivizing people to just work as quickly as possible. They pay per minute of audio, usually, so people are rushing through without taking time to actually do things CORRECTLY, so they get paid more.

I started watching stuff with captions preferentially when I first tried to watch The West Wing and was finding myself bouncing off it because the dialogue went too fast. I turned on the CC and had a MUCH easier time following everything. So now I just leave them on when possible.

I am very bad about this in myself. I tend to find myself getting "too" into some song or something (usually it's music) and feeling ashamed or something. Guess I should work on that.

The DIY one was listed up for sale for a while on FB Marketplace and I tried to talk my local friends and family into buying it. No one did though. :(

That is untrue.

Having a comorbidity does not automatically make someone "unhealthy." The study is listing neurodevelpmental disorders as a comorbidity. So a perfectly healthy autistic child, for example, would be counted as having a comorbidity. Also obesity, which doesn't preclude being healthy either.

My healthy brother-in-law got COVID before there were any vaccines available (he was one of the first, like, 10 people in the entire state to get COVID) and he almost died. He is okay now but COVID is FREQUENTLY MUCH "worse than the common cold."
