these pieces were from 2024, and sort of reflect my time away from watercolor in the interim years, during which all of my art was done digitally. You can tell I had forgotten how loose watercolor can get 😅

many of these first pieces were made as part of my college senior thesis, a preliminary novel draft featuring a pantheon that encompassed many concepts of the world and how people understood them. Grief, morning dew, the first moment of sleep, all bore a face and a name.

Thinking about Nightreign, there have been so many low key hype moments for me that I can’t wait to talk about with people who haves played (I don’t want to spoil it)

I played Nightreign for 6 hours on stream last night, had an absolute blast but didn’t end up winning— then caved and played one last round and beat the first Nightlord… whoops 🤣
