This Friday my wife and I will celebrate our 10th wedding anniversary.

This morning, we received an early gift.

My beloved and I restocked the @ischoolui.bsky.social student food pantry today. Not visible: boxes of cereal, tea and hot chocolate, and Covid tests.

Thanks to several of my colleagues for donating supplies as well as $$$ to help with purchases.

We've been doing this since the winter of 2020.

The matter involving minors can be deemed obscene if it (i) depicts an image that is, or appears to be a minor engaged in graphic bestiality, sadistic or masochistic abuse, or sexual intercourse and (ii) if the image lacks serious literary, artistic, political, or scientific value. Kids sent us a photo this afternoon of our 2-year-old grandkiddo’s setup for storytime at home. He likes to “read” to his baby sister but today he decided to expand his audience.

A lot of early #comics and sci-fi #fanzines were reproduced via hectography. It was an affordable and low tech entry point for printing, as this line of products from the 1952 Sears & Roebuck catalog demonstrate.
Hectographs and supplies from the 1952 Sears & Roebuck Catalog. A letter-sized duplicator cost $2.49, carbon paper was $1.07 for 25 sheets, ink - available in 4 colors - was 98c for 2 2-oz bottles.
