Americans are learning the drawbacks of assuming on faith that our presidents would be sane stewards of the country. The world is learning the drawbacks of assuming on faith that the US would be a sane steward of the global order. In both cases we're gonna get a re-think, I guess.

What we really need is a brief interregnum.

One of my pet peeves is the headlines that are put in the form of a question, ala, "Is climate change real?" (NYT does this all the time.) I understand why they do it, but it often implies there's uncertainty or an open question where there really isn't.

Money should not be confused with "voice" at all. Are you supporting a constitutional amendment to undo the Citizen's United ruling? I would love to hear that you're serious about the need to take money out of politics.
