An image from last night of the globular cluster M3 taken with the Dwarf 3. This cluster was discovered in 1764 by Charles Messier and is located about 33,900 light-years from Earth in the constellation Canes Venatici. It is estimated to be approximately 11 to 12 billion years old.

A new successful mission to the Moon by FireFlyAerospace with their mission BlueGhost. Two photographs show the shadow of the BlueGhost on the lunar surface, indicating it landed on an elevated surface, with Earth visible in the sky. The second image shows the lunar surface and Earth on the horizon.

Less than a week ago, we bought our second car. We really like it a lot, and one of its features is the sunroof. However, for us, as Night Sky observers, it's more of a star roof.

Flying and landing the Spruce Goose H4-Hercules over NYC with Flight Simulator 2024. This massive, wooden seaplane designed by Howard Hughes flew once in 1947. Now, it’s preserved at the Evergreen Aviation & Space Museum in Oregon.
