I think Kanto is the worst in terms of character relevance. I don't like that Pokémon such as Mr. Mime, Lapras, and Kangaskhan have nearly nothing to do with real-world Kanto. Pokémon from Galar or Paldea can represent their regions culture & ideas. Most of Kanto doesn't have much to do with Japan.
