This weekend was about seeing my musical heroes live. I saw Japanese composer Joe Hisaishi on Saturday in Rotterdam, and on Sunday Dutch vocalist Anneke van Giersbergen played in my club in my hometown. A fantastic weekend!

An early beer for me after doing some garden work, because I have to perform with my orchestra tonight. It is apparently officially spring now, not summer.

Starting 2025 I started working less. A good way to spend these off days with good weather is just taking the bike, dropping a pin somewhere on the map and driving to it. This time it was to Blokzijl and back.
