I came home with a bunch of shirts from PAX U last year so I get it.

It just means I will start planning in February of 2026, so I can be sure to be there next year!

And the city is going to be slammed from what I can tell!

I have tickets, but could not find accessible lodging, and had to bail because I was not going to make the trip, and then ending up not being able to stay where I could book. That has happened way too many times to roll those dice.

Safe travels!

Yoooooooo! I love the Tomb of Horrors, and that shirt design bangs out of control! Is that going to be for sale online?

I'm sorry, man. It feels like, at least right now anyway, they are multiplying like rabbits.

I mean, if you are ever in my neck of the woods, you come over for lunch. I make it with gojujang and peanut butter three or four times a week. Shin Ramyun, gojujang, and <flavor of the week> is kinda my staple.

These are all I have on the shelf right now.

The feeling is mutual, rest assured of that.

I can imagine it has to be even harder to do it when you are an adult and have those fond memories.

I'm sure that took a lot of courage to prioritize self-preservation. A warrior's amount, in my humble opinion.

It's hard to cut them out of your life. It's hard to find your voice.

It can break something inside you that, if left estranged long enough, can't be fixed. But at the end of the day, at least I can sleep at night knowing there is a line I won't let them cross with me or the found family I built.

What is weird is the same behavior from a "where is my hug" guy at the coffee shop or bookstore is replicated by someone's "memaw," and most people just okay it because it's a weird old lady who thinks she has rights to your body autonomy and not some stinky dude in a fedora.

A snake is a snake.

Money, greed, and clicks "normalize" a lot for some people.

They are the same type that demand someone give them a hug or kiss because it's "good manners."

The behavior gets dismissed as "just the way they are."

It's twisted and fucked, and I'll call it out to my last breath for what it is.
November 20, 2025 at 12:29 AM
People are fucked up.

I'm sketched out by the videos and pics where parents and elder family make kids perform or show them in the bath or prank them or make them upset for the clicks or comments or whatever.

The shit is a real issue, and it gets dismissed way too often, but it sticks with you.

Love the included sketch!

When I was a daycare-level child, a college-aged man followed me around with a shoulder-mounted video camera so he could record me at the daycare "walking" while disabled

Why?

To play the tapes for the other kids and teens to make fun of me because he said I was a "freak."

Oh, I dig the hell out of this one, Brendan! Well done

I feel like in 20 years, that snake is still going to be an iconic image for me. It's up there with Fairey's HOPE poster and Fitzpatrick's Che Guevara poster from 68.
November 18, 2025 at 3:34 PM
I hope this peace lasts for you as long as possible without causing harm.
November 18, 2025 at 3:32 PM
Hope this is good news and not a spider in the cereal box or some other such horrible thing
