I think it's because she's aware she's in a conflict -- the best ones are where the interviewee says something self-refuting without any apparent awareness that they've demolished their own position.

After reading it, I didn't think she came off particularly well, but didn't have a total self-implosion as we see in the most fun Chotiner interviews.

Well, I wouldn't because it would take days of work to compile the data for a post a small number of people would ever see.
I think a serious effort would probably need to look at a class larger than Senators to get decent numbers? Perhaps looking at mortality for upper income professionals.

Seems like the Republicans after Trump will be worse if nothing is done; everybody watching knows that authoritarian consolation is possible in the US and can be done quickly if you were just a little more competent than Trump.
