I ended up with two color palettes for my character design. One inspired by a more childish aesthetic (and Zeen Chin). The other is inspired by a grungy aesthetic with darker abd desaturated tones.

Which one do you prefer? :)

I just did the lineart for yesterday's sketch. It was a blast and I learn a lot in every piece I make. Now I am going to experiment with colouring it. (I also recorded the process so when I edit it I am going to upload it on my youtube channel.)
