I was really cynical about the ABA my entire career. So imagine my surprise reading that this bunch of money-grubbing corporate tools have risen up to preserve the "rule of law" and fight the kleptocracy! It's like Scrooge showing up with a turkey in "Christmas Carol"

Curious. Who should have spoken out? On what platform that was not already being used. The people made up their minds long before.

What is there to gain from neutrality, as a church historian? Would you not have a point you are trying to make with the book? Are academics not to debate?

I am seeing some (Meg, William, Allie Beth, etc) painting others into corners with accusations of activism.

How about donations to churches, think tanks, etc?
