Io credo che a questo mondo esista solo una grande chiesa, che parte da Mercatello e arriva fino a Santa Teresa...
Hi Antonio. I'm talking about short scripts or feature plots. I see that the main issue is the language, cause I'm not so fluent in English to write directly in that language. In any case I was looking at this: filmfreeway.com/GoldenScript... It seems they also provide feedbacks. Seems nice..

By chance I did it on day one of Pocket departing (I was lucky that kobo worked directly with them for the app replacement). And I must say that the importing tool on instapaper works great.

They've just closed the deal with instapaper. It will be on our devices by the end of summer!

Just read the news on another social. Also people on bluesky should know that you're great and closed the deal for another read-it-later platform. And such a good one!!

Hi! Any news on this matter?

Fingers crossed...

It will be necessary to understand how Kobo intends to replace this function in its readers. Personally, it was a gamechanger that pushed me to switch from Kindle to kobo.

It happens to me when I have a fever and at night it goes down quickly (I've even reached temperatures below 35 degrees, 34.7 celsius to be precise) but I've never investigated the causes.

I've made some effort explaining everything to my companion AI put on a page here cicciocotroneo.github.io/script2epub/
It's now fountain to epub and I think it work on a pretty readable way (I've also put some reference to original pages as approximate minutes). I'll keep on working on pdf to epub

It finally worked. Fountain to epub translation on my page works exactly as I wanted. Thanks for inspiration and suggestion. Now I will also think about a direct pdf/epub translation or going through Fountain, again. But now read what I find or what I write more cleanly on my kobo

Then I'll keep you posted! Thanks for joining the thread

I'll propose it to Calibre developer.
I was trying something similar (from pdf, that the ai surprisingly found easier to translate than fountain) here cicciocotroneo.github.io/script2epub/ Anyway, I'm really sorry to have wasted your time dragging you in my lucubrations as an aspiring geek-writer. 😁

By saying "leaves a reference to the page number visible to the reader" I meant "to the ebook reader"

...But it is clear that, at this point, such an authoritative intervention puts an end to any discussion. Could I ever argue? 😂 And, by the way, fountain is absolutely great - weekend would be even better if only it were available to non-ios-lovers like me...

As a total amateur reader, I thought it might be interesting to think of something that transfers spacing and indentation and that, in some way, leaves a reference to the page number visible to the reader...
April 14, 2025 at 6:51 PM
... tied to a paper sheet. Maybe it's useless since the market (that I don't know well) still prefer to have only printed scripts. But sometimes I like to read them for mere pleasure, and my favorite tool for reading is the ebook. I was thinking that out there could be someone like me

Hi Ram. Thanks. Actually I know it, but I intended it more as a way to write "on the fly" and without a specific software. It could be helpful somehow to let a software parse it before translating, but I think more at something that could facilitate reading on devices that are not anymore...
April 14, 2025 at 4:53 AM
... interested? Possibly also with knowledge in coding - since I've tried to develop something with AI but it could be just a starting point

... (i.e. Characters, parenthetical, Dialogues, actions, scene headings and transitions) and, somehow, maintain, in epub conversion, a reference to original page (so not to lose the count of pages and approax.monutes of the movie).
Anyone...

Looking forward to knowing when it will be available in Europe
