Character names may also differ, but characters will still be recognizable. (Mansur AU wise is named Dali)
So far, only one character is planned to have a relationship with an OC, and this is Dali.

Character relations (in respect to canon and OC characters) are different, but mostly every canon relationship remains the same, and only tweaked slightly in specific directions, such as with Mansur and Perrin, where they are full on sibling figures in each other’s lives.
