I love how this translation feels almost performatively German. “I don’t know, THE bluest eye? We might want to be careful with a claim like that. No no, it’s not like I don’t believe you! I’m sure they were Very Blue Eyes!”

After decades of baffling German translations for English movie titles, it has finally happened in the other direction. It's no "Unglaubliche Reise in einem verrückten Flugzeug", but I'm still very happy for "Deutsches Haus", or as Disney calls it:
