Developing software has friction, like machines do.
Not enough information to do the right thing.
Not enough resources to execute in the right way.
And external factors influence fhe final outcome.

So plan, design, and code for as far as you can see, but no further.

In software, the cost of “making your wish happen” (aka building) has so much lower commitment! You don’t need to give up massive savings, months of your life and take huge risks… and you can walk away any time (at least until you have laying customers!)
