Caution: high gravity
Turned out nice again!

Time, perhaps, to free up the space inside the fridge door that has been occupied by this bottle for the last 20 months.

Best before 12/2024, should be fine! It hissed on opening so not gone flat, at least.

Export – my preferred out of the three. Carbonation lasted the longest. More malty than sweet, with a slightly bitter finish.

Probably more in the pilsener style than the pilsener!

Pilsener – slightly lighter and sweeter than the lager. No noticeable aroma.

Wrexham opinions…

Lager – very sweet and a malty aroma. The head dissipated quickly.

A Welsh trinity has appeared!

After a brief food interlude, I wrapped up at the Two & Six micro on Snig Hill. Plenty of options to be going at!

Craft & Berry, Ecclesall Road, Sheffield.

Bit of a crowd inside, thought I was crashing a party! You've had an interior pic before, so here's outside…

Holy Goat Double Choc Orange stout, and Vault City Risalamande (again).

Barry's Bar, on London Road, Sheffield.

Cooking lager for a fiver. Sadly, no BBQ on tonight, the jerk chicken menu does look quite good.

Second is the Cricketer's Arms. I had to blag my way in, they enforce a season ticket holders only entry policy. Probably why it's a bit more sedate in here, just a couple of chaps watching snooker and the Pram Man (IYKYK).

Good to see a cask on, decent pint of Abbeydale Moonshine for £3.60.

First up is the Railway. A genuinely terrifying clientele, I was ready for it to kick off at any point during the 20 mins I was in there whilst the locals argued about snuff, the n-word and who bought the last round.

Guinness in a nonic for £6.50.

Always remember to keep your roasting tray in the fridge. To maintain its freshness, I suppose.

Pub stop 5 - Walham Green, Fulham.

Excellent conversion of the old station building. The bar is based in the former booking office windows.

Right, where was I. Ah, yes…

Pub stop 4 - Alexander Fleming, Paddington

Glass and bricks. Boring. Nice canal views though.
November 29, 2025 at 3:49 PM
Pub stop 3 - Siegred, King of Essex, Basildon.

Pure, unadulterated chaos. Lunch plans scrapped - only the breakfast menu on, with a 60 minute wait.

Cooking lager and crisps it is, then!

Ooh. On camera too, ooh!

Pub stop 2 - Crosse Keys

A JDW that I've passed several times and not gone in‽ Error corrected! Great interior; not the most exciting cask selection but in good condition nonetheless.

Pub stop 1 - Sun Wharf, London Bridge

A bit of Wetherspotting is in progress. Apparently gets very busy so best get it out the way first!

I was intending to go out yesterday afternoon, but decided against it as it was dark and raining.

I wasn't intending to go out today, however...
November 29, 2025 at 6:08 AM
To be fair, I didn't do too bad. Only one forgotten item and three that weren't on the list.
November 27, 2025 at 12:29 PM
It's only Vault City again with more pudding flavour pudding beers...

(Not shown, an Apple Cinnamon Doughnut flavour one that I had in town yesterday but forgot to take a picture of!)
November 24, 2025 at 7:54 PM
No diet today, pie and pint instead.
