Not sure if it’s relevant or even a good thing but all Canadian provinces have an Apology act. These statutes protects apologies made by people for an injury or mistake, preventing these from being used against them in a civil case or in other related legal proceedings.

Every one of these deals will be a huge loss for the USA. The pressure is on the Trump admin to show appropriate progress to the American public. The opposing negotiators will use this to their advantage. Also factor in the incompetence of the US administration.
