In this Post I tell of the Most Misappropriated and maligned of our angelic Faerie Folk...

..The Towsie Tyke.

The first Mid-Night of has passed, the shortest day has extinguished itself, and we are heading to the second Mid-Night of the MidWinter Solstice.
1/4 It is time to once again return to VISIT the DARK MidWinter otherworldly beings that share an existence upon the Earthly Mother during this cold dark moonth, with us pathetic lowly mortals. But before we begin to tread the Dark Path, I must insist on giving you dear reader, a wee primer into our long suppressed cultural traditions of the Northern European Peoples. It was on long cold winter nights like these, that the ancestors spirits first made themselves known to me. I was 1 and a half to two years old still wearing nappies (diapers) at night. They appeared in the Darkest part of the backroom where I slept in my cot. They looked like white phosphorus lines, in elegant shapes, swirls, patterns, and expressions. Moving as dance, acrobatics, and playfulness. The first two nights they visited me, I was amazed and spooked enough by their presence, that I climbed out of my crib, out of the backroom, into my Mother's bed, hiding my face in her armpit until I fell into a deep sleep. I didn't have the vocabulary to tell what I saw, so I said "something in the dark frightened me". My Mum asked, "What was it?" I replied "I dunno, it was dark!" And that was all there was to that chat. After their second visit, the ancestors spirit's didn't seem scary, and I realised I was the one making me 'fraidy. But I've digressed on a tangent, so back to the dark ones. The primer needed is to assist you in seeing the world as our ancestors saw, & experienced it. One of the most earliest image devices they utilised was the Rainbow Serpent. Also known from classical Mediterranean cultural times as the Orobous. "The Circular Serpent that is biting its own tail". [See Next Image] 2/4 RAINBOW SERPENT Most folk will at some point in their life become aware of the Mythical story of Noah, and may remember that God made a covenant (contract) betwixt himself and the rest of mankind. "As long as there is a Rainbow in the sky, I (GOD) will not destroy the Earth and All Whom Dwell upon it." What the majority of peoples on Earth don't remember, is that there is a much older covenant that has been in existence, betwixed Mother Earth and ALL LifeForms on Earth. That Covenant (Contract) takes the shape and form of The Rainbow Serpent. What is written below is pertinent ONLY to the "Northern Hemisphere" of Planet Earth. At the top where the White Dot is, represents the following: •The Sky •The Space Above Your Head •Sunlight so Bright its Colour is White, & at Mid-Day, MidSummer Solstice this White Light becomes Translucent. •Mid-Day Noon •MidSummer Solstice •Life in All its Abundance •High Mountains/Clifftops •Summer Meadows •Lightening •Heaven The side of The Green Dot, represents the Autumnal Equinox: •High Autumn •Peak Harvestime (all cultivated crops [seeds, grain, fruit, veg,] etc, should be harvested by this date) •wild food gathering begins (edible fungi, game meat hunted & butchered) •preserving of excess food for Low-Winter •WinterProofing the home. •woodpile stocked up •THE START OF THE WINTER HALF OF THE YEAR. The Bottom where The Black Dot is, represents •The Earth/Soil/Ploughed Fields •High Winter, MidWinter Solstice •Darkest part of the year •Black Earth/Soil •sleep/hibernation •Freezing Cold/Frost/Ice/Snow/Death •The Grim Reaper •Old Father Time/New Year baby •YuleTide •Xmas/Solstice pudding •YuleLog/Everlasting Fire/Flame/Light •First-Footer the Darkest person with you represents the Dark Angels/Faeries/Deities &must be honoured as 1stFooters •Death/ReBirth •Dance of the Lord (said he) I'll do a more detailed infoDUMP of the vernal Equinox. 3/4 THE TOWZIE TYKE. This Faerie Folk being is the Pictish Regional equivalent of PAN, from the Mediterranean Traditions. The main differences are that the Towzie Tyke is a Part Dog, Part Man, & Part Goat composite Faerie Being, Totally coloured the Darkest of SootBLACK, Whom also plays a Bagpipe instead of the panpipes. The Towzie Tyke was known to the invader Romans, but they viewed Towzie Tyke as a variation of Baccus/Pan. However, it was after the Emperor Valentinus converted to Churchianity, and allowed a newly created religion based on MisAppropriated teachings of a Jewish Holy Man, anchored to the MisAppropriated Belief Traditions of the Jews, as an explanatory backstory to the Jewish Holy Man, to revamp the Roman Empire, by creating a New God. Newly Revamped, the Roman Empire... ..oops, sorry. The Holy Roman Church took up the Roman Imperial Army, and tasked it to conquer all of the remainder of Northern Europe. Only THIS time, missionaries preceeded them, tasked with documenting everything about the peoples North of the Alps. They spied our beliefs, our Spirituality, our relationship with our ecosystems, our food, our buildings, our sacred places, our sacred object's & symbols, our Faerie Wildfolk Earthly Mothers Angels, our ShamenFolk, our WiseWomenFolk, our Native Medicines, our methods of farming, indeed everything about us was written down, in a language and script we couldn't read. With nomenclature whose meaning we weren't permitted to comprehend. All hidden under the betraying disguise of Befriendment. These Church Spies then took their scribblings back to whence they came from, to show their efforts to their master's. These scribblings were then handed to the INQUISITION, whom diligently studied the content to establish criminalization from which to prosecute genocide. The stark choice my people were given was, Cultracide, or Genocide. From this, a Dark Joyous Prince from our pantheon of Angels was SATANized to scare the world with. 4/4 THE TOWZIE TYKE part2 [the Reign of the Old Years Ankou reaches its end as the last person to die at the stroke of MidWinters MidNight, becomes crowned as the Ankou for the New Year, Garbed as the Grim Reaper, but the cutting edge of the Ankous scythe is on the outer curve. Making the new years harvesting much easier for the new Ankou.] The Part Man, Part Dog, Part Goat, Towzie Tyke undertook to play the most mournful slow laments on his bagpipes, during the Wake of the SunGods Death, allowing for some with the second sight to see two astonishing spiritual things. The first is the way the SunGod tricks the new Ankou (at MidNight) for three consecutive nights, into granting the SunGod his ReBirth into the realm of the living. The second is, One of the ways Towzie Tyke accomplishes his physical ability to play the Pipes, is to sneak into the body of a bagpiper via the energy centers (In my case via the Chakras), to possess permissioned control of the bagpipers breathing, lips, arms, & fingers, in order to spiritually play the (for that moment) appropriate tunes that the Towzie Tyke has from HIS SOLE repertoire, the power of such an "apt-moment tune" binds everyone present to experience a group-soul unification. I can attest to having experienced the Towzie Tykes takeover of my body whilst playing or (more often) fine tuning my bagpipes on numerous occasions. At these moments I have played the most astonishingly beautiful tunes that I have never heard before. On many of such occasions, I have wept at my own inadequacies of my bagpiping capabilities, because of realising there will never be enough lifespan in this physical body I inhabit, to be able to consciously master the Towzie Tykes level of bagpiping. I am so greatful to have learnt the Native Culture, and Spirituality of the Land I've lived upon all my life. As the YuleTide Revelry Begins to Aid the Sun God back to Glorious Life, the followers of the Old Pre-Hi-Storyic Way of our ancestors draws such masses to the more famous of our sacred sites from antiquity.

Stonehenge, and Newgrange being the most attended.
1/4 Stonehenge, the most famous of Sacred Places in Ynis Prydain. 2/4 In antiquitous times, much of the area surrounding Stonehenge was revered for exuding healing powers, appreciated by both humanity and animals. 3/4 Ground Radar (Geo-Phiz) of the area surrounding Stonehenge, has shown a plethora of small structures along with burials associated with the structures. This has verified the oral hi-storys of the healing aspects around Stonehenge kept by the hidden ones, to be accurate. 4/4 Newgrange in Erin, said in Oral Hi-Storyic recounting, to be a portal to the past, the future, and the present. Depending on how the Master Druid has prepared themselves for the journey ahead. The long passageway from the entrance to its deepest internal point, is illuminated from a light box above the entrance. This lightbox allows for the rising Mid-winter Sun Ray's to cast brilliant sunlight deep into the central chamber of Newgrange. At this moment person's sensitive enough have experienced the presence of, and heard the Old Irish Gaehltach being chanted.

In just over an hours time, This Mid-Night, will begin the eons long YuleTide Traditions.

Over the next few days of our Native Prydainic Yuletide Festivities I will share a plethora of gems from our Native Oral Hi-story that we've been forced to hide from the oppressive Church Father's.
Male and Female Blackface Border Morris Ceremonial Dancers, dressed in Mid-winter foliage Garb, traipse In torchlight procession, to an ancient Pre-Hi-storic sacred site, deep in the Prydainnic countryside to mourn the death of the SunGod. Vigils held throughout Ynis Prydain on this night, and every night until the Rebirth of our beloved SunGod on the dawn of the 4th day of Capricorn. Our Faces Blackened as a mark of respect to the Mystery Grave of the SunGod, ploughed along the distant horizon, deep into the Black, wet, earth, of the Earthly Mother, to begin His Mighty journey through the UnderWorld. Thus commences our vigil for our SunGod.

12th of December marks the beginning of Honouring of the DARK Angels of the Earthly Mother,and Heavenly Father. Our Native Prydainic Ancestral Deities.

The skin of the Earth of Prydain is Black at this Wntertime of the year.
A Pre-Hi-storic/Hidden-storic Border-Morris dancer dressed from head-to-toe in strips of Black-cloth, the head and face adorned with the ritual seasonal Custodian that honours the Shamanic Consciousness NatureSpirits that reside in the Blackthorn Tree every 12th of December. The Wintertime of the year are the moments we honour our "DARK" deities (or as "we that are in the know" prefere to regard them, as the "Angels of the Earthly Mother and the Heavenly Father"). Of recent decades, an impetus to reveal (when relevant) the centuries hidden (from persecution) the sacred (native to Ynis Prydain) Shamanic Ritual Garb that is traditional to the native peoples of Ynis Prydain. When the Roman Imperialist Invaders entered our sacred land, by force of legionaries and weapons, what followed afterwards were a platoon of propaganda scribes. These propagandists busied themselves writing down anything they saw, and anything they could interpret. When interrogating our captured druids and chieftains, they asked numerous times, what we called our Homeland. Our collective answer was "Ynis Prydain". These Roman Invaders ears couldn't capture the nuanced Keltic pronunciation of the nameword "Prydain" (Labeling us with the insult of "Barbarian"). So when the Roman Military Commander's asked their scribbly propaganda creators, "What do they (the Kelts) call this island?". The Scribes collectively choked with paralysed tongues, created a pause, until one propagandist broke the silence with "It sounds like Britain, or Braytain!". The Centurion exclaimed "Right, Britain it is!" And we've been existing under the yoke of this Roman Imperialist label of "Britain", EVER since. Two thousand (2,000) years of living under a constantly Imperialist imposed label tagged🏷 on us to control us, by denying the existence of our Ancestral Homelands original name. For those of you that would like to know, Ynis Prydain translates into English as, "A Beautiful Expance of Land".
