It's all imagery from the pegan holiday of Ostara celebrating beginnings and the goddess Eostre. Christian easter was placed over the existing holiday discouraging those traditions. Flowers, eggs rabbits are all part of those celebrations plus alters with foods (likely why the sweets came into play)

This one's not non-fiction, but "Malevolent" is a cool RPG style horror/ supernatural story, I really have enjoyed it.

Do you feel like it's similar for actual practice? I've wondered about them, but I think what I have the most trouble with is depth and being steady without having the resistance of a hard surface against the machine.
