I don't forsee anyone building an xp curve for the completionist playstyle ever again. Honestly, 20% of optional content is probably the most i expect for an open world game.
Even Silksong went the other way where more upgrades barely helped aside from a few.

I like to run my Oxygen focused team since the meta started centering on Fuel, but it's tough to just accept losses when someone brings the Heat to the table.

Lol. Buddy, it's a video about being able to jank your way up the wall of a building.

Bro didn't even watch the video and went off.

Worm-girl has some excellent videos, you may have seen some of her involving Fear and Hunger.

Ah, I haven't looked at it in a while. The right move is to the weirdo who collects the whole set and then make your friends play.

Unfortunately, you missed your chance to enjoy Android: Netrunner. It's still alive being supported by fans, but the digital player is not good enough where I'd expect you to like it enough right away to get in.

I would settle for my players wanting to actually make choices about who their characters are and how they feel about things. I have never had to consider collaborative world building.
I do get it though, everyone has their thing that drives them to play and some are all about building the dollhouse

I hope you recover from your edgy political philosophy phase with a sense of self and purpose not focused on offending the voices you hear most, but helping those you love.

The idea that there is nothing new to create only works if you shut your eyes to everything that is kept out of the overly rigid entertainment systems that are primarily concerned with investments. There is no shortage of novel things we could see if these studios were made the minority.

I could have just said it was all PR

Also, of course, it turns out that it is not actually an extinct animal, but an existing animal genetically modified to be as close to what some scientists *think* the extinct one was like.

Why would someone move bezoars into blacksmithing? It's undigested matter from an animal's digestive tract.

In my experience working around blue collar Trump supporters for years, I know the answer is that they don't know what corruption is and do not have any standards to judge against. They do not believe that anyone is held to a higher standard than anyone else, so this all looks smart to them.

Ah good. The one my old conservative roommate doesn't think exists and I made up or misunderstood

You know that thing where the real problem is that everyone who has ever told about the thing was just bad at it and misrepresented the subject? That's everyone who has ever explained how Morrowind plays.

Ah, the game that sparked the first big "Historical accuracy means no Black people" declarations from devs that I saw.
At the time I assumed that was why it seemed to launch poorly, but that seems naive now.
