It was also a powerful moment to hear from our new CEO, Helen Moulinos, on how we’re looking to transform the sector and push for systemic change.

Together, we explored vital questions:
💡Why has abolition failed to end slavery?
💡Why does slavery continue to thrive in the modern world?
💡 How can we take meaningful action to end slavery for good?
💡And what needs to change within the Modern Slavery Act to drive real, lasting progress?

One step to reforming the system and reducing the risks of trafficking, debt bondage and forced labour faced by these workers is for the Government to make employers pay recruitment costs. Sign our petition, because nobody should pay to work: www.antislavery.org/tell-the-gov...
Tell the government nobody should pay to work
Tell the UK Government: Nobody should pay to work. Protect seasonal workers from abuse by making employers pay recruitment costs, not workers.
