We had an excellent excursion over the weekend, visiting 3 churches on Anglesey owned by the charity

The officers and committee members of the AAS gathered yesterday to celebrate Frances Lynch Llewelyn MBE, who is stepping down as our chair after 13 years. She first joined the society in 1964 and has been at the centre of our activities ever since. She will still be very much involved, though!

We were pleased to have the Consul General of Ireland in Cardiff, Denise McQuade, at our Day School, ‘Anglesey and Ireland: connections through time’, last Saturday, where she opened the proceedings.

"Riots in Amlwch. Town in state of shock". The Anglesey Antiquarian Society's lecture, to be delivered by Dr Lowri Rees @lowriannrees.bsky.social, on Friday, 21st February at 7:00 pm at Oriel Môn Llangefni will delve deeper into this 'headline' and explain the background and the consequences.
