Senators and Representatives have both Town Hall Forums and website email to gauge public opinion. The President's interaction with the public is limited by Secret Service. He should have regular Zoom conferences with a diverse group of ordinary citizens and small business to help gauge opinion.

I am opposed to the President's tariffs on allies, regardless of the reasons. They may make sense for China, not only for the trade imbalance but as a punishment for their either intentionally hacking business or allowing it to go unchecked.
