Lasst uns auf Erkundungstour in Löbtau gehen und hinter die Fassaden schauen. Wir besuchen solidarische Orte, wo man am besten eine Limo trinken kann oder die günstigsten Klamotten herbekommt und zeigen Orte des Antifaschismus im früher und heute. Wir freuen uns auf den Austausch!

even if sensational images of tattooed and violent Nazis generate more clicks than colourful and peaceful demonstrators, let's break this logic and focus on the people who should be at the centre of attention at CSD.

Let's not repeat the mistake this year. Let's flood social media with images of people standing up for the right to self-determination and equality for all! Let's paint a picture of why we are on the streets: for queer rights and diversity in the ‘colourful countryside’.

While the right-wing mobilization was a constant topic of discussion, too little was said about the thousands of courageous activists and queer people who refused to be intimidated. They stood up for their rights and celebrated queer life and queer resistance.

Last year, in the aftermath of the CSD in Bautzen, it was mainly the Nazi mob that dominated the headlines in the newspapers and the images on social media. Anti-fascist accounts and media were also involved in reproducing this right-wing spectacle.

But we, as (queer) anti-fascists, also have a request for you: let's not allow the images of ugly Nazi faces to dominate, especially on Sunday, but instead focus on the images of our emancipatory events!

Auch wenn reißerische Bilder von tätowierten und gewaltbereiten Nazis mehr Klicks bringen, als bunte und friedlich demonstrierende Menschen – lasst uns diese Logik durchbrechen und die Menschen in den Mittelpunkt stellen, die beim CSD im Mittelpunkt stehen sollten.

Während die rechte Mobilisierung ein dauerpräsentes Thema war, wurde zu wenig über die tausenden mutigen Aktivist*innen und queeren Menschen geredet, die sich nicht haben einschüchtern lassen. Sie standen für ihre Rechte ein und feierten queeres Leben und queere Widerständigkeit.
