What about Chris Murphy as a replacement for Schumer?
I'm not an expert on him in the slightest, but he's the only choice that comes to mind. I know he isn't perfect, either; particularly with Israel.

It'll be 46 years, this November- there was supposed to be some reprieve under the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action in 2015, but I'm not entirely sure how many sanctions were lifted before Trump got into office and rendered it void. Probably wasn't anything significant.

Christ, he might as well be stuck in the 80's and advocating for Apartheid South Africa to defend itself. I don't understand his tone-deafness. Not every Jew has to be bound by/indebted to Israel, it is a choice.
