GOOD GRACIOUS!

The revision downward for both May and June is insane. I hate to think what the revision of July will ultimately look like.

No doubt residents of Georiga are thrilled to learn Rep. Mike Collins (R) is running to represent them in the U.S. Senate. And I'm sure Senator Jon Ossoff (D) is relieved to learn Collins will not be challenging him for the seat representing Georgia.

Today I learned that the US Navy still uses the deHavilland DHC-2, which were built in Canada in 1949. In military service, it is called the U-6A "Beaver."

Great to see Ukraine hit such critical assets within Russia on the eve of talks - shows moxie and capability. Having done that, here is the framework Ukraine will present to the Russians in Istanbul.

Are we now putting the Dear Leader on random giant banners like Lenin and Mao? Is this an American thing now?

I guess the verdict of the church is that we're in a decline.

Looking at this schematic and I'm at a loss. What is a cornhole? A viewer of "Beavis & Butthead" know what a cornhole is, but in the context of a schematic... what is it?

The senate confirmed Lt. Gen. Dan Caine as the next Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff. When he takes his new portrait, I do hope someone in the room is willing to help make sure his pins are aligned, as this is actually important in the military. Look at those lapel pins! ARGH!

I had to document this moment. General Michael Hayden was the Bush Administration director of both NSA and CIA. What a journey he has been on 🤪

Reunion is part of metropolitan France. The Heard and McDonald Islands are part of Australia... but unlike Reunion, they're not even inhabited.

I can assure you Heard Island and McDonald Islands do not impose a 10% tariff on US imports on account that these islands are uninhabited.

Despite the vast majority of people I follow being reporters and journalists, it seems to have fallen on me, and me alone, to actually post the list of tariffs announced today.

Apropos of little more than mentioning his name, back in February I stumbled across (and had the presence of mind to photograph) the Rube Goldberg building. The actual guy. He built it, his only structure, to house his father while making some passive income. I wonder what it must be like in there.

Wow. I had no idea Mexican president Claudia Sheinbaum was so darn popular. 85% approval gives her a stupefying amount of latitude to challenge Trump and his tariffs (and invasion threats).

I can't imagine conservatives would tolerate putting naked ladies on our money today. Seems odd that was acceptable back in the 19th century but not in the 21st century.
