I don't have a car personally (I don't need one) but we have 2 EV at work and our state is 95% coal powered at night, and while the day power sources are improving we still made a rapid assessment that our EVs were generating more co2 than most equivalent sized modern ICE

EV are good if they are manufactured cleanly (debatable in many cases) and you live in an area where the grid is clean enough. But an EV culture of "disposable" cars (notably promoted by Tesla) means there's basically no point to them.
In the end, once again, the answer is less cars.

Criticising EV makers for often focussing on creating a culture of "buy more and often" that is not unlike that of smartphones around EV has nothing do to with "promoting oil" you big idiot. "EV evangelism" is exactly as idiotic as big oil propaganda, the answer is "less cars", not "less gas cars".

Even saying Dragon has worked very well is a kinda wrong as the crew version is constantly on the verge of disaster and getting waivers its competitor does not...

Obviously this is all wildly circumstantial, but I'm beginning to suspect that just maybe there might be more to the relationship between Elon Musk and Jeffery Epstein than has yet been revealed!
