If you get past the tropes, the plot armors, and the dramatics, the concept is great, and the characters are very engaging.

So much life in a few small rooms. The action is in the conversation, so attention is necessary.

I think it is absolutely possible to watch it in one sitting, although I couldn't because of other considerations. Mesmerizing movie. Incredible cinematography, blocking, pacing.

Good satire, boring characters (but I'd guess that is also a part of the satire).

34. The Substance (2024)

Another fun and enjoyable movie. The deliberate exaggerations fit the whole thing very well. The performances were also great.

So enjoyable! It felt like a Bond-movie, and only after watching did I learn that it was one of the inspirations.

I really enjoyed it! The stories and the action were good, it was well directed and entertaining.
