Me, too! I love human stories. More, I love the diversity of human cultures & languages. How language can shape how we view the world. You should research the Sapir-Whorf Hypothesis. It’s also known as Linguistic Relativity. How language & thought mutually influence each other. Fascinating!

Yep. Former Xtian, now an atheist b/c I find more compassion/empathy among fellow atheists than I ever did among Xtians. Love the work The Satanic Temple does b/c it upsets the paradigm of Xtian dogma. Of all the many Xtians I’ve known, I can count one 1 hand those that actually follow Christ. 🌏✌️

I personally find it hilarious b/c Xtians are such ignorant fools. They tremble at the thought of a Satan statue that might influence their kids, all the while blind to their own hypocrisy that non-Xtians might feel the same way about their 10 Commandments. 🌏✌️

Interesting. I’ve never met another cultural anthropologist on here. There has been an archaeologist or two, a couple of scientists outside my discipline, but no one else who does what I do. Though many people who do work in higher ed.

You’re missing the point here. When battling the Christo-Fascists against the 10 Cs everywhere, prayer in schools (Xtian only), it helps to hit back at them w/ the most heinous thing they can imagine. 1/
