I love working over a bright underpainting. Easier to tone down colors than it is to try to punch them up after the fact.

Yes. AI is currently eating itself. That’s why the AI tech bros are in favor of mandatory labeling of AI output, so they can train their data laundering algorithms not to train on it. This tech is designed to steal from humans. It is incredibly insidious.

As an artist, I see both uses as evil. Authors need to understand this and join with artist to stop using this destructive and dehumanizing data laundering tech.

Also, stop using AI. It makes you look cheap, lazy and nihilistic.

Same! Lol. I loved his work so much, that I foolishly wasted almost 20 years trying to use watercolor to paint in ways it was never intended to be used. Switched to acrylic a few years ago and have been much happier ever since. 😂
