I wrote my first novel because I was struggling after a breakup. I felt confused, useless, and abandoned, and I never really understood why it happened. I felt like I was dead and surrounded by monsters. There was a lot to work through, but laughing through the absurdity helped.

I watched the movie Santa's Slay for the first time last night, and it will be a yearly watch for the rest of my life.

It's nice to have someone tell me directly that she told them to unfriend me. That's all very much behind me, but it was only perpetuated for so long because of blind adherence and whispered rumors.
