Building a system for balancing and calculating the species we make. took 6 hours... Writing the Documentation for it... been at it for about 2 weeks. Words hard.

I doodled, thought I would share. Mostly a species from Guardians' Song. Didn't turn out like completely as I would have liked; I needed to work on height and proportions a bit. But 20-minute freehand draw and was proud of it.

I'm not sure if I'm fully back, but I wanted to share a thought: while I was away, it occurred to me that creating my world isn't the hard part, as it has been in my head for years. It is trying to find a medium to share it with everyone else, so that those who would enjoy it could find it.

Sidenote, I was curious about interest outside my common community. Who would be interested in Competitive Tabletop RP? Being in the test, we found that not only can this be used for cooperative but competitive. Not sure if it should be pursued, and add it on. So thought I would ask the public.

Been mostly a month of life getting me down and keeps on kicking. Though it never beat me before. So hoping to have the combat test for public tests soon. Also might have convinced one goo dragon to help me with this. So expect to see something soon.

So finally made enough headway to do the combat tests today. While this is an Alpha run, it seems to fit together well. While I feel good about the math, I am hoping the feel is right. What is the point if a game isn't fun?

When working with species today, I realized something. Humans are surprisingly low tier on the factor of mythological species. I mean, we have low natural armor and offenses. Stats are mid across the board for physical. Save for decent Mental abilities and adaptability. We are the hard mode run.

I felt it would be polite to mention I am taking some time away from social media. Just taking time away from the world, while my mind will let me. Sometimes, when it is like this, it is better to venture into the worlds you love than force existence in a world filled with hate.

So, at the moment, between Guardians' Song and My side gigs, I know I will be checked out of my mind until at least January. So yay holidays. The only thing on holiday, it seems, is my train of thought, which left ages ago.

Took a break this weekend to revisit gaming on my Game Cube and PS2. I realized I couldn't remember a lot of my favorite games on them and wondered why. Then I realized they were released in the 2000s and just felt ancient at that point.

Time to date myself, but I am just realizing how much I miss buying something and owning it. No need for subscription fees or anything like that. Just gets annoying how many companies now have subscription-only models for programs and that.
