@IanAMartin @Anibyl 40 is a start but all the evidence points to 30 km/h as the sweet spot. Most European cities use 30. I'm frustrated by the fictional exceptionalism NA cities believe in.

@shireenj.bsky.social I was on Shaw for internet for many, many years and it was extremely stable.

Shaw was bought out by Rogers a year or two ago, and random disconnects are a regular occurrence now. They usually only last for about 5 minutes, but still, extremely irritating.

@IanAMartin I'd ask if you were with Rogers -- which was out for me earlier this morning -- but I have a working connection now, so I doubt that.

It's amazing how much out lives rely on this connection now.
