It’s also a good demonstration how Peter Cushing was a very underrated actor. Knowing the tragedy that happened with his wife really made his performance way more stronger.

The first and third segments are my favorite parts. The first one having a strong Christmas esthetic that many considered the movie a Christmas horror film and I kinda have to agree. Even though the other segments are not set in Christmas.

Very good film. I hope this and other Ishiro Honda Toku films get a good blu ray release in the future maybe in a box set or in several volumes.
