My daughter, Carrie-Anne who was 9, was killed by a car on this day. My wife Sue told me because my memory was wiped from that day to today. I continue to be numb.

"I have come to collect what I am owed".
"The piece of my heart I had to give you in order to move on".

It has been quite a few years since I had dealings with HMRC Tax department. I have received a very rude email from them, so they have had one straight back.
I'll not be spoken to like that, email or not. Now you can stick your trying to get your tax demand out of a 70 year old.

We have a new fish tank because I felt sorry for the fish swimming around in the old, small one.

To all the artists on Bluesky, thank you for your beautiful work. Have you thought to make your pictures larger, so people can purchase your work and have images on the desktop of your computer to look at every day?

The Aging Rock Star.

And we're here at the venue,
Looking forward to the night.
Equipment all set, and sound-check taken
"Early days", I said convincing myself,
Dreaming of success and untold wealth,
My hopes were burned,

No-one turned up.

Mum is 92. she has been ill for a long time and her head has gone awfully awry. This morning, carers telephoned for an ambulance as she was calling for Dad, who sadly died 12 years ago. Any comment might help. x

Poem #1 for love I lost.

I loved you then, I love you now,
You loved me then, you did proclaim,
Before you stood and broke my heart.
Your promises gone, I begged and wept,
Thrown yours away but mine, I kept.
Think of me now, I know you won't,
My love still stands, your love just don't.

Me at 70

Got up from my chair, things became black and l fell backwards into a marble fireplace. I have dislocated my knee, my shoulders, back and legs are painfully stiff and bruised and I have a lump that Tom (of Tom and Jerry) would be proud of. Bugger.

As a lad, I used to enjoy The Great Egg Race on the BBC, and looked forward to receiving Omni every month which I would read in bed.
I would love to see TGER bought up to date and Inspire young people, and Omni, a modern reader would love it's monthly content either in print or digitally.

Just had a text message from the doctors saying that because of "unforeseen circumstances", they are cancelling my nurses appointment tomorrow. I now have to wait another month for another.
Sorry, this just isn't good enough 😕

Our Lib Dem run Council, South Cambridgeshire, has decided that this year, 2025, is a 53 week year, so all the paying customers are to give a full week's rent and council tax to the council. If you are on benefits, you have to find the money for the extra week.
Please, help.

South Cambridgeshire District Council (Lib Dems) have quietly decided that a year will contain 53 weeks, and that we will be required to pay rent for this self declared extra week. In addition, workers employed by said council work a four day week.

Somebody do something please.

I feel as if I am back in (radio) pirate days as I have just bought a Huawei 12.2" tablet, keyboard and stylus.
I have made my brain semi work again after the stroke, and now to learn things the Huawei way. Shaking with excitement.
